Jack White’s company & another outfit called Light In the Attic have conjoined forces and are releasing a vinyl compilation targeted at kids who have an interest in music. Entitled ‘This Record Belongs To __________ ‘ on November 6th, featuring songs by Nina Simone, Jerry Garcia, Harry Nilsson, Van Dyke Parks, Donovan, the Pointer Sisters, Carole King, Kermit the Frog, and others.

The album comes with a full-color storybook that tells the tale of five forest pals who find a mysterious object — a round, flat disc — that they proceed to investigate and learn how to play. You can pre order it here.
