Primus Announce "A Tribute To Kings" Rush Tribute Tour

Primus will pay tribute to the late, Neil Peart by playing Rush’s album A Farewell To Kings in full.

Frontman, Les Claypool’s love for Rush started back in 1978 when the bands Hemispheres tour made its way through California’s Bay Area.

“Hemispheres was my first concert. Little 14-year-old guy who just threw up in the parking lot from drinking three Löwenbräus, having my mind blown by watching these guys do their thing” said Claypool.

The love affair continued to grow in 1992 when Primus had the opportunity to open or Rush on their Roll The Bones tour. Additionally, Claypool performed at Rush’s Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction in 2006.

Claypool will once again have the chance to show his love for Rush when Primus brings their “A Tribute To Kings” tour across North America this spring/summer.
