Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled his October 6, headlining appearance at the Power Trip Festival in Indio, California.

On Monday (7-10), he released a statement online that read: “As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out.”

He said that his original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, he was optimistic and booked it.

He went on to explain that his body is telling him, “that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”

Ozzy’s health issues, including catching Covid more than a year ago, forced him to cancel some of his previously announced tours.
