Sharon Osbourne recently shared a deeply personal and challenging experience during her Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap show in London on January 21. The renowned personality opened up about a dark period in her life when she attempted suicide upon discovering her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s infidelity.

During the event, she revealed the emotional toll of realizing Ozzy’s unfaithfulness, saying, “He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that.” However, the situation took a drastic turn when she discovered that Ozzy knew intimate details about the other person. “When he knows the name of the person, where they live, and where they work […] it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.”

Sharon went on to share that, at the time, her children with the rockstar, Aimée, Kelly, and Jack, were older and could “take care of themselves.” She recounted the harrowing moment when she overdosed and secluded herself in a locked bedroom. The family maid attempted to enter the room for cleaning and discovered Sharon in a distressing state.

The couple, who had been together since they were 18 and married in 1982, faced a period of separation in May 2016 due to reports of Ozzy’s four-year affair with a hairstylist. Ozzy sought treatment for sex addiction, leading to a reconciliation with Sharon by the end of the summer in 2016. They later renewed their vows in May 2017, marking a significant chapter in their enduring relationship.
