Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 delivered one of the most legendary MMA fights of all time Friday night, but not in a good way. Slice and Dada gassed out early and staggered their way through nearly three rounds in the co-main event of Bellator 142. The heavyweight fight ended when an exhausted Dada stumbled awkwardly to the floor at 1:32 of the third round. Dhafir Harris, aka Dada 5000 was hospitalized after the fight and had been in critical condition overnight. He is now apparently in stable condition. According to a statement, Harris suffered from “extremely high levels of potassium in his blood, which led to severe dehydration, fatigue and renal failure.” The statement goes on to say that Harris’ high potassium levels were likely a result of losing 40 pounds for the bout. The maximum weight at heavyweight is 265 pounds, which Harris measured during an official weigh-in Thursday.
